Twenty-One Days of Jane and Maura | Day Nine: Free Day (part 2)
Gabriel Dean, though most fans of the show hate him, is an amazing character. In the books, he balances out Jane (just as he does in the show). At first, she was hostile. But finally she let him in, and allowed him to love her. When Jane is thrashing and trying to solve a case, he is there for support and love. Gabriel is quiet, and doesn’t have to shove his masculinity down everyone’s throat in order to be respected. Jane is the opposite - loud and constantly trying to show she can be one of the boys. They mix perfectly, and if Rizzles never happens, I want Jane to end up with Gabriel. And then they can have Regina, the mini Rizzoli.
